Avacyn Restored “Launch Party”

Wotc is phasing out the Launch party, but that’s not going to stop us from playing some sealed the Saturday of a new set release.

General Info

• Entry fees are payable onsite in cash only. ATM services onsite for $2 per $50 withdrawn.
• All event times listed are start times. Registration will open for each event 1 hour before start time and close 15 minutes before
• Buying/selling is allowed only by authorized dealers onsite. Trading is permitted but no cash may be involved
• Hall hours are from 1 hour before first event begins until the last swiss event closes.  Warnings will be given before hall close
• The sealed events are *not* run in pod format. All players will be in a single tournament up to the maximum available (200 players for the individual swiss events)
• Beginners are encouraged to play in the Open Dueling format, it’s low competition and casual, good for getting your feet wet

• We have two Helvault events.
• One is our Midnight Sealed, the other is our Saturday morning Sealed.
• If you would like to Preregister for a Helvault event you may do so in the store with cash or using the paypal link below.  Make sure you use the dropdown menu before the link to select the event you are registering for.
• Please include your name AND DCI number when preregistering
• There is a $2 service charge to preregister ($32 total per event).

This preregistration link is ONLY FOR HELVAULT EVENTS. There is no preregistration for Sunday events or 2HG events.

Due to changes in Wotc Policy, we are no longer allowed to run drafts at prereleases. We apologize to those of you who really love the drafting, as soon as we are allowed to by the rules we operate under, we will gladly do so again, but for now, no drafts at prereleases

Prizes

Pack Prizes will be paid out based on points after swiss with additional packs based on top 8 finish. Prize pool is based on the number of entrants to the event.  First place after top 8 will receive the Invitation and the travel WotC provides*.

*Under 18 winners prize will be different, and at wotc’s discretion.

*Airfare award. An airfare award shall consist of one (1) roundtrip coach air ticket, on an airline chosen by Wizards or its designate, from the major airport nearest your home to the city in which the applicable tournament or championship will be held. You will adhere to all instructions provided by Wizards to assist Wizards or its designate in booking such air ticket. Wizards or its designate will book such ticket to include the days of the applicable tournament or championship. Lodging, meals, gratuities, ground transportation, and fees caused by changes to airline reservations are your responsibility. Trip must be taken on dates designated by Wizards or award will be forfeited.
